2009 Russell Salvatore
Scholarship Award Competition

Three graduating high school seniors from Erie County will each receive a Scholarship Award of $ 1,000.

To be eligible you need to graduate from high school in 2009 and be 50% Italian. Scholarships may be applied to a post high school program that furthers your education or training.

Winners will be chosen by judges selected by the Board of the Italian Heritage Festival.

Judges will base their decision on your essay describing how your understanding of what it means to be a US citizen is influenced by your Italian heritage.

Limit essays to three (3) pages, double spaced. Less is ok if you write concisely but take up to 3.
We care more about your message than the number of words.
